As you probably already know, there are more than 26,000 members of our Volunteer Bushfire Brigade family. But we bet you don’t know all of them – and neither do we….yet!

The Association knows that not everyone has an email address – or even a computer for that matter – but we are doing our best to be smart with the limited time and resources we have and there’s no doubt that at the moment, electronic communication is the fastest and most economical ways to engage with the hard working volunteers we represent.

Given that you’re reading this right now, you’re obviously one of those who we can talk to electronically and we want your help to help us spread the word that the AVBFB is working to ensure you and your fellow volunteers are safe, properly resourced and appropriately recognised when you give up your time to protect our community.

The first thing you can do to help us help you is fill in as much of the form below – both now and any time a position in your Brigade changes. The more up to date our information is, the better we will be able to represent you.

The other things we ask, is if you know a bush fire volunteer who isn’t all that computer-savvy, take it upon yourself to print our some of the news and information we will send you and put it on the Brigade notice Board or pass it around at the next meeting.

Thanks for your support and help in making things better for those who make so many sacrifices for the rest of the community.

Remember, just fill in as much information as possible – every little bit helps!
