What did you do last night? Shopping? Curl up on the couch with a blanket and some soup? Read a book in bed?
Of course, any of those things would be perfectly normal for the majority of us on a cold wintry night but not for the incredible women and men of WA’s volunteer Bush Fire Service.
We know many other Brigades around our great State did exactly what leaders from five different brigades came together at the Stoneville BFB last night – spent their night learning, sharing and preparing themselves, their volunteer colleagues and their communities for the high risk periods ahead.
Thank you Shane from East Gidgegannup Brigade, the pro-active team at the Stoneville BFB and leaders from three other local Brigades who spent their family time working together for the benefit of our community.
