The Association of Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades (WA) Inc (AVBFB) is a registered Charity and non-profit association and the Western Australian government’s prescribed representative organisation for the state’s 580 Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades.

While there is an enormous amount of work to be done to ensure the safety and support of the 26,000 volunteers who provide the vast majority of Western Australia’s emergency services, the AVBFB has only one paid staff member – a part-time EO who is supported by a committee of volunteers (who are also active volunteer Bush Fire Brigade members in their own communities).

At present, the AVBFB relies on a government grant of around $100k per annum and donations.

Your financial support will help us help the diverse and invaluable volunteer bush fire brigade members.
