You know where we stand – volunteers are the key (excuse the pun) to resilient, self-directed and viable communities.

And those who have been around a while will also know there are two other groups that we reckon should share a pedestal right up there with our amazing Bush Fire Service volunteers:

  1. Their families and friends who provide the support and care to enable our 26,000 incredible women and men to leave their homes to protect others, and
  2. The awesome business community that also digs in to help when it’s needed – either by covering for volunteers when they have to leave work to volunteer or by rolling up their sleeves and using their resources to provide practical and valuable help.

And as you can see in the Facebook post below, the awesome team at KEE Surfacing fall into the second category by using their valuable time and resources to help the ladies and gents at the Darlington Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade.

It looks like this wonderful donation from KEE Surfacing was a huge help to the Darlington crew and as always, deeply appreciated.

Congratulations Darlington VBFB for building valuable community relationships and thank you KEE Surfacing for supporting the incredible women and men who have the backs of your community.
