The association is proud to have been supporting volunteers in the Shire of Capel and shares the community’s relief that a positive resolution appears to have been delivered.
While the situation is far from ideal and will require time and effort to repair, it is a very positive example of the immense value of WA’s unique Local Government volunteer Bush Fire service – where the experience and wisdom of local volunteers can directly influence important decisions that impact the whole community.
We look forward to continuing our support for the incredible team of volunteers in the Shire of Capel and the beautiful communities they protect.
