The association was very pleased to be able to visit the team at the Burekup Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade today to personally deliver their brand new FLIR K2 Thermal Imaging Camera funded by the 2020 Bushfire Volunteers Western Power small grants program.

We have been lobbying hard for many years to make these incredibly valuable tools available to be funded via the Emergency Services Levy Local Government Grants Scheme (LGGS), but in the meantime are very appreciative of Western Power for providing annual funding that enables brigades like Burekup to purchase items like this.

Thanks to the Burekup crew for taking time out of their Saturday to make themselves available for the enlightening and enjoyable visit.
