Thanks to the incredible support of Western Power, WA’s Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades benefit from funding grants to enhance bushfire fighting capabilities.
As two of this year’s successful recipients, Isseka VBFB in the Shire of Northampton received a new chainsaw to clear fire hazard areas and a 4WD recovery kit, while the Hester Brook VBFB in the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes received Telstra Cel-Fi Go Mobile Repeaters, significantly enhancing mobile coverage in rural areas.
All items received as part of the Western Power grants program play an important role in assisting Bush Fire Brigades in the vital work they do in keeping our communities safe.
