There’s typically a lot of talk about chimneys, reindeers and holiday treats this time of year.
But we know many of our amazing 20,000+ Bush Fire volunteers won’t get time to plonk on the couch in a “food coma” after a long lunch tomorrow. A lot of our incredible team are self-employed, farmers or kept super-busy with managing a home and fulfilling multiple other volunteer roles within their local community.
So for those of us who are in the privileged position of getting some time off to rest and relax, we thought we would share the quick video below, submitted by one of WA’s true legends of voluntary community service in the Great Southern.
Thank you to our essential service volunteers all over WA from all walks of life and in this case, our amazing farmer firies. And thank you to our Farmer Engagement Partners, WA Farmers who have helped us connect with WA’s agricultural community enormously in 2020. We look forward to a bigger and more productive relationship in 2021!
