Australians in bushfire-ravaged parts of the country are still reeling from the summer blazes and the devastation they brought to their communities, their homes and their businesses.
But as they continue to regroup and start to rebuild, that effort is being compromised as the nation grapples with the growing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.
And despite the Government saying all efforts would go into the recovery effort, the National Bushfire Recovery Agency told Senate estimates just 10 per cent of the bushfire fund had been paid.
